The PROGRAM consists of four components integrated to give the student a comprehensive clinical medical education. The program is designed to (1) provide valuable hands-on clinical experience, (2) increase exposure to various medical specialties and sub-specialties, (3) enhance the residency application of each participant, and (4) satisfy requirements for state medical licensure.
This component is modeled after the clinical education program completed by U.S medical students. At the beginning of the PROGRAM, each student is given a schedule of their rotations. Rotations are scheduled in four week blocks and all students change rotations at the same time. At the completion of the PROGRAM, each student has satisfied their medical schools requirements for all of their core clinical rotations.

Part 2 - Preparation for completion of USMLEThere is an emphasis placed on taking and passing the USMLE Step 2CS and 2CK exams throughout the entire PROGRAM. There are practice exams and review materials available to all students to help prepare for their exam.
All students are given the opportunity for individualized attention for completion and submission of their residency application. Students have resources available that will help with interview strategies and writing an effective personal statement. Letters of recommendation are available from the MEP teaching staff and assistance is provided for the critical 48 hour “scramble” period.
